How to take deposits with Stripe

Step by step

1. Go to Settings → Payments and click Connect with Stripe. Have your bank account (IBAN), ID, business address and tax details ready.
2. Finish Stripe's sign-up. Back in HueSuite, Payments shows Stripe Connected.
3. Open Settings → Online Booking → Services & deposits and set a Deposit % for each service that needs one.
4. Optional: under Deposit Automation, switch on Auto-send deposit request on manual bookings and Auto-cancel unpaid deposits after 24h.
5. For a booking you add yourself, use Request Deposit on the appointment to send the client a payment request.

Good to know

• Fees: 0% commission on bookings. HueSuite takes 1% on online payments; Stripe's own processing fee (1.5% + €0.25 for EU cards) is separate.
• Deposits are a percentage of the service price, set per service.
• Your Late Cancel Fee and No-Show Fee can be taken from the deposit — see How to set a cancellation and no-show policy.
